Nikon Coolpix S810c first thoughts (YES, Android interface)

Finally, finally one more compact camera with an Android interface. This is in my mind the way to go for compact cameras and a way to keep the sales up. It might not have phone interface, but it can do much the same as a smart phone and a tablet.



This means that you can use it for apps and games from the Android store and makes the camera more than just a camera, but can also be used for this apps.

Now the camera makes only have to great a public interface to their camera advanced camera function and a great deal of 3rd party developers can use it for new innovative way to use the camera.

A common platform like Android should the be long term goal for all digital cameras as interface, but it is most likely a long way off.
